SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
The City Council.of the City of .Lubbock, Texas, met at 1:47 p.m. in the regular meeting place in
the City Hall, the following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor J. H. Granberry and Councilmen Deaton.Rigsby, Lonnie F. Hollingsworth, Johq E. Baker, and

Morris W. Turner, City Manager W. R. Blackwell, City Attorney Fred 0..Senter, Jr., Assistant
City Manager Robert Wilson and City Secretary -Treasurer Lavenia Lowe.
71-30-255-664 Motion was made by Councilman Rigsby, seconded by Councilman Hollingsworth, motion carried, Mayor

(1) Granberry and Councilmen Rigsby, Hollingsworth, Baker and Turner voting Yea, none voting Nay,
to appoint ten additional persons to serve as members of the Tax Board of Equalization for the

year 1971. These persons are as follows:
Roy Middleton
C. F. Cooke, Jr.
Donald P. Hudgens
H. G. Wallace
Owen Gilbreath
Clyde Myres
