Present: Mayor Pro Tem Latrelle Joy; Council Member Juan A. Chadis; Council Member
Karen Gibson; Council Member Jeff Griffith; Council Member Shelia Patterson
Harris; City Manager W. Jarrett Atkinson; City Secretary Rebecca Garza; City
Attorney Chad Weaver
Absent: Mayor Daniel M. Pope; Council Member Steve Massengale
Note.- City Council addressed agenda items in the following order:

1. 1. Ordinance 2nd Reading -Planning: Ordinance No.2018-00048 adopting a one hundred
eighty-day moratorium and prohibition on accepting,processing, or acting upon certain
applications for any permits for the construction or modification of any "Billboard" as defined by
Section 40.01.003(23)of the City of Lubbock Code of Ordinances.
Motion by Council Member Karen Gibson, seconded by Council Member Jeff Griffith to
approve Ordinance No. 2018-00048.
Vote: 5 - 0 Motion carried
Other: Mayor Daniel M.Pope(ABSENT)
Council Member Steve Massengale(ABSENT)

There being no further business to come before Council, Mayor Pro Tern Latrelle
Joy adjourned the meeting.
