The City Council of the City of Lubbock,Texas met in special session on the 19th of September,
2017, at the Maxey Park Community Center- Social Hall,4020 30th Street,Lubbock,Texas at 6.00
p.m.
7.10 P.M. CITY COUNCIL CONVENED

Present: Mayor Daniel M. Pope; Mayor Pro Tem Latrelle Joy; Council Member Jeff Griffith;
Council Member Steve Massengale; City Manager W. Jarrett Atkinson; City
Secretary Rebecca Garza; City Attorney Chad Weaver
Absent; Council Member Juan A. Chadis; Council Member Karen Gibson; Council Member
Shelia Patterson Harris
This was a meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee.A quorum of Council
Members attended and participated in discussions during the meeting in which the board
considered the following topics as shown below.
Note: The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee addressed agenda items in the following order:

The next meeting for the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee will be held on October 17,
2017. 'I'liere will be a community event held on November 14, 2017.
Mayor Dan Pope thanked the committee members and gave remarks.
7:35 P.M. CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED
'there being no fui-ther business to come before Council, the meeting was adjourned.
The September 19, 2017 Special City Council Meeting minutes were approved by the City Council Oil
the 26th day of October, 2017.
